Eizo's monitors are designed with power supplies of high efficiency, resulting in lowered energy consumption during usage. In order to furthermore optimize the energy consumption Eizo have developed a series of functionality assisting companies and users to furthermore save energy both under monitor usage and in monitor rest mode.
Our BrightRegulator 
function improves the ergonomics by measuring the ambient brightness and signals the backlight to adjust the screen brightness accordingly. This keeps the screen at the ideal brightness level under all lightning conditions. The feature reduces power consumption and is ergonomically correct.
Long product lifetime is a crucial feature influencing the environmental strain. Since the Eizo monitors can operate with optimized brightness they have a longer lifetime resulting in a minimized environmental strain. Furthermore, Eizo offers 5 years warranty on most of its models. With that we give our customers an increased confidence in its choice of brand as well as confirms our quality and product stability.

Since Eizo's participation in developing the first monitors with power save mode in the beginning of 1990, we have been working with ergonomics, effective and environmental correct production with goal to minimize carbon dioxide, minimize material usage as well as critical choice of used components.
In addition to the BrightRegulator, saving energy during usage time, Eizo have two other energy consumption saving features ensuring that the monitor will not consume unnecessarily energy when not in use.
- Off Timer allows the monitor to automatically turn off after a specific time has passed, normally a 9 hours working day including lunch time. This function comes especially handy if the computer does not have its own energy saving functionality.
- 'Power Saving Mode' ,the monitor goes down into a sleeping mode when the computer is not used. This function is guided by the computers own energy saving capability and meets the demands stipulated by Energy Star.
