Stefan Ohlsson at 'Svenska Fotografers Förbund' (a Swedish photography organization) magazine F has tested the Eizo ColorEdge CG241W. The score given is '4f' and the article is covering the PVA technology.
"With other monitors, using this type of panel, it has been enough distracting for me to avoid working with images on such monitor. Here however, Eizo has succeeded in minimizing the problem. My opinion is that, with CG241W, most users will be undisturbed of the variation."
"The color range is very large. It is no problem to reproduce all colors which are able to be printed in a high quality print." Furthermore and about the ColorNavigator (the software coming with the monitor) he writes: "The automatic procedure makes the calibration process much easier and more exactly then if setting the color balance and brightness manually."
Stefan Ohlsson summarizes:
"Both when calibrating the monitor with ColorNavigator or my own calibration software, I get approved on all parameters when checking against my test program, U-Dact. Till now only one other monitor achieved this result, the Eizo CG221."
